About Juan Carlos Bosacoma:

Juan is the founder and CEO of CIO Landing as well as a published author and public speaker.  JC worked in technology for several large companies including Sami Burke, CAP Gemini, and Quaker Oats before starting his first company, USHost.com, in 1996 - one of the first Internet Service Providers in Chicago. After selling USHost.com in 2002, JC founded IT Consulting Associates to provide IT and management consulting services. As it provided solutions to large and midsize companies, it evolved and pivoted to become CIO Landing.   

Born in Bolivia, JC received a scholarship to attend the University of Buffalo where he received a B.A. in Computer Science and pursued Industrial Engineering for a master’s degree. Later, he attended the University of Chicago where he received his MBA. 

His company is the outsourced IT department to small and midsized businesses primarily in regulated markets and manufacturing.  It differentiates itself by providing CIO oversight and cyber security services at the core of what they do. CIO Landing enables clients to focus their resources more efficiently on the things that are most important to them.  

In his time away from the office, JC enjoys skiing, biking, cooking, learning to fly a plane and spending time with his two children, friends, family and good food. He is also a member of the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, University of Chicago Investment Club, and is an ex-oficio Honorary Vice-Council of Bolivia.
